After 15 years of pain, he found relief and returned to an active life.
Michael began suffering with chronic hip pain about 15 years ago, but struggled to get a proper diagnosis until he met Meredith Warner, MD, an orthopaedic surgeon at Warner Orthopedics & Wellness, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
During those 15 years, Michael could not participate in two of his favorite hobbies: ballroom dancing and driving the vintage cars he painstakingly restores. Meanwhile, finding effective treatment proved difficult. Steroid injections provided only temporary and partial pain relief. Opioids were another option, but he did not want to rely on them as a long-term solution.

StimRouter worked for these patients, but individual results may vary. It is available by prescription only. The StimRouter Neuromodulation System is indicated for pain management in adults who have severe intractable chronic pain of peripheral nerve origin, as an adjunct to other modes of therapy (e.g., medications). The StimRouter is not intended to treat pain in the craniofacial region. StimRouter is contraindicated in patients who have any active implanted device such as an implanted demand cardiac pacemaker or defibrillator, or metallic implant in the immediate area intended for implant.
